dang, great story! It's refreshing to see a triple master actually use guns ... although UAH3 is very mind intensive and you ran out of those buffs before he spawned.
Speaking of the acklay, how in the world were you alone? On Ahazi the thing's uber-camped 24/7 and you're never ever the only one there when he spawns.

Yeah........I've been down to get acklay 4 or 5 times......every time there's a single swordsman or rifleman who spams mind hits on him.....we never get the loot and it sickens me. Same thing happened when me and a friend were lookin for kimos. A lone swordsman/doc popped up, jumped in the battle, and did more damage than both of us! Things need to be fixed.....big time.

first off im a triple master
today i was snooping around the geonosian labs looking to make a few bucks like any smuggler would.i worked my way down to the acklay's cave. after waiting for one to appear i have no mind buffs left and i am alone and only have 22 minutes on the rest of my buffs. i start working on bringing down the beast with my weapons. i did not use any uber or dot weapons just the normal stuff with a few improvements. so after ive weakened the thing a bit i notice i have 3 minutes on the rest of my buffs and the acklay still has 30k health. time to kick it in to gear. i pop my lifesaving muon gold and jump into hyperspeed attacking that thing as fast as i can when bam my buffs give out. i immediately feign death to make a strategy the dot from healthshot 2 brings the acklay from 500 health to just 50 and no farther. i have one chance at this with the acklay and 3 kliks in the room the second i stand up i could be dead. i jumpt to my feet and immediately panic shot everything in the room is delayed by 10. perfect! one shot is all i have and with horrible wounds even the slightest hit from one of the creatures will kill me. my last ditch attempt lands perfetly and kills the acklay. with no time left i loot it and feign death again. as the spiders and kliks fight over my body i got up and snuck away. in purely smuggler style i got away with 10 exceptional acklay bones and a sense of pride in my proffesion

Dang, you beat me to the question...especially on Bloodfin, last time I went there there was more folks than creatures sitting in the Ackalay cave.
Great story though, awesome to see a Master using all his skills to get the valuable loot and sneak away...Kudos.
