I have been saveing up my points to get a faction HQ andI went to buy it last night and the discount price woud'nt show up. It woudnt even let me buy it; soI guess my question is amI just buged or is faction discount buged?

It works. Go ask someone of your same race how much it costs them. You'll see a big difference. Unless faction bases are somehow not counted. In addition to the 25% discount which lowers the list price and rquired faction you need to buy, there is the 10% Point of Sale discount.

If something costs 19k, being master smuggler makes it cost 14.25k faction instead.

Then when you buy it, you only actually pay 12825. Contrary to what the line says, this 10% point of sale discount comes at novice smuggler (and applies to all purchases including rank). The 25% discount only applies to stuff and personel (not to rank).

It says fowared command HQ is 15,000 and Deatachment HQ are 40,000. My last rank costed me 6000 (if it applays to ranks or not). I also checked other stuff mines are 375.

n/m im a dumb assI did the math wrong (seeing how its 2am and all). You can flame me now or something, and to think I got an "A" in Clac. What dose that say about the calf school system heh...

i dont think the discount works for ranks. but it does work for faction pets, bases etc. I just got my ranks yesterday and i was paying the amount a non-smuggler does.

im a wanabe smuggler right now ... do you ahve to slice the recruter to do this? or a mission termilan to get more credds for a mission? or how do you pay less for stuff is the question
