Thread: Sincere Weaponsmith wonders when the Smuggler Revamp will be coming?

Oh! Wait, there is a big thread on this forum, authored by a SOE guy from 6-16-04. Wow, over 5 months ago. But, this doesn't tell me when the Smuggler Revamp is going to made live. Wasn't it supposed to be before the Combat Rebalance & GCW new content? Wasn't it supposed to be before the Expansion Pack was released?
I just hope whenever this thing occurs that you gu ys can choose Damage or Speed slices, is it me, or is this really the only thing most players care about when it comes to Smugglers? I mean, I'd love to see you guys doing all sorts of illegal things, getting harassed by the Empire more often, maybe even a Master Smuggler Certified Weapon for your efforts and devotion. Likea Mind Fire Pistol, ooo, that would be neato!
One day the chariot will swing low.... and take us home... keep hopin'. And if the devs knew what was good for 'em, they'd cert a DL-44 that has some armor piercing and shot booze.

One day, when pigs fly, and the oceans turn orange, and new devs are hired, then maybe...just maybe we will finally get a revamp

See, the smuggler revamp will actually require nano technology in a simulated zero gravity environment at the bottom of the ocean. So until we master those two technologies here on earth, and SOE gets the money to use them, there will be no smuggler revamp.

Amen to that, I was just telling my friend how much smugglers should have a Han Solo gun. He said something about how smugglers should be able to slice their own pistol multiple times, but you have to be a smuggler (possibly master) to use that weapon.

Serously...*MAYBE*...sometime around April / May...*crosses fingers*...all depends on how much time is going to be spent on this Combat Upgrade...since we are POST-CU...
