1.this could be an option on a speederbike, you can slice into a swoop bike and steal a vehicle (thus granting you a player bounty: what do you guys think of this?
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bounty_hunter&message.id=357401(can someone clicky that please??)
2. maybe thats to much for you guys to handle or deal with, how about slicing yoru own vehicle to make it go faster??

I think slicing other people's vehicles and stealing them would probably be considered griefing. It might be good for an rp experience, but put yourself in their shoes. It would pretty much ruin the game's fun factor for you.

Both been suggested LONG ago more than a few times.
Personally I don't think the devs want anything that will increase ground speed any more than it is currently. They already have horrible lag problems with mob appearing after you've already passed them or when they're breathing down your neck...the game simply can't handle faster ground speeds IMO.
As for stealing other players bikes? They'll never impliment that. They haven't after well over a year from the first time I heard it suggested so I doubt they will now.

I remember stealing other people's ships as a smuggler on MUDs long long ago. Then again they could easily find its location and could just kill you on site if they found out
But basicly, anything that involves stealing or messing with someone elses property is never gonna happen. Especially in a game (unlike most MUDs) that you pay for.

how about stealing opposing faction only (would have to be in a faction rebel stealing imp vehicle, or imp stealing reb vehicle for a maximum of 5minutes, would only be able to enter/exit, no storing, no keeping.

1. Stealing is bad M'kay? This was suggested many times before and shot down. This goes into the same catagory as the "Taking resources from Harvestors" and "Slicing into the bazaar to buy stuff cheaper". It's not a fun game mechanic and is simply evil...and not evil in a good way ![]()
2. Slicing vehicles has been brought up a lot. I do believe that the Devs wanted to include something in the failed Pub. 9 Revamp fiasco about slicing vehicles for more condition or to "jump start" them in the field. But since we rightfully pulled a Chaz Darvey with that Revamp and wiped our behinds with it, nothing has been implemented yet.

I'm not sure that this would add much to my game-play personally. If we were to get slicing change, I think it we'd be much better off with (A) picking dam v. speed and/or (B) slicing ship equip. I have enough rubber-banding/lag with my swoop as it is without making it go faster.

Not only is it major potential for griefing BUT we are NOT CAR THIEVES!!! We are suppose to be SMUGGLERS.
Smugglers != Car thieves.

It would be kind of neat if it like terminals with timer and you couldn't permanately keep the vehicle. Slice the vehicle take it for a ride maybe 2-3 minutes then you will get ejected and not be able to slice it again for like 10-15 minutes.
Just think of it as taking it for a joyride.
But there is probably still to much possibility for griefing

I think that would be great. It would cut down on the amount of players who leave a speeder or swoop in the middle of a doorway. How many of these have you noticed going into a cantina or spaceport... Sorry your double parked it's getting towed...
