Haven't been in these forums much since I retired my Smuggler template... still waiting to grind it back out on a alt character..
Thought I would stop by and see if there have been any positive changes to my favorite profession?

The only thing we've gotten is the FP purchase change from the last publish.

So from what I can see... the faction perk is all that has changed. I left when the nerfed auto pulling from crates.

The crackdown's much more of a presence now, or at least it is when you get caught. Also, we've been blessed with the ability to make bubble tanks and gambling tables from looted schematics! Neither of which do anything at present, but to be honest, they do look pretty cool.
Can't really think of anything else. There are signs we're being taken seriously these days, however.. the crackdown and FP changes in consecutive patches, the occasional dev visit, the contents of their posts which seem to indicate they're aware of our issues. I know I'm a fool for thinking so, but I'm pretty optimistic about the future of our profession--even if it takes another 4-8 months before we start to see that future.
