I was considering master smuggler for my wookiee and was wondering if there is any issue with trading fp and stuff, he is an imp colonel btw.

A wookie officer!!!!
omg, how long did that take?
Wookies have a really bad multiplier on faction.
Only humans have no resrictions, I thinkIridonian (read Zabrak ie: Darth Maul)has the lowest restriction of any non-human Imps.
Sorry I don't have any real numbers at the moment.

Actually, all aliens are equally restricted in terms of FP costs. The tiers of restriction were only in beta.
However, Zabraks can wear all the armor. Twi'leks can wearmost of it. Bothans, mon cal, sullustans, and rodians can wear some of it. Doshans can wear a bit of it.Wooks and Ithorians can wear none of it.
In your role as smuggler, the only problem you're going to run into is when people ask you to get actual items from the recruiter. That cost is pretty steep. However, you have no penalties to sellingfaction points.
I've been an Imperial Zabrak Smuggler for a LONG time. It's doable. I still make great money. But if I was human it would be JUST a bit more.
Basically, the bottom line is that for faction items (furnature, uniforms, ranks, pets) you'll pay about twice what a human master smuggler would. However, you still pay MUCH less than a non-smuggling alien. And your penalties compared to non-smuggling humans aren't TOO bad. About 1.5x the cost for a non-smuggling human.

oh, thanks for the correction. I thought that the FP penalties were still tiered.
(can you tell that I have never played an Imp)

Do smugglers still get the 10% and 25% discount on faction gear? Its not listed in the skill boxes anymore.

I'm pretty sure we do. It cost me only 6100fp to biolink my Scout Trooper armor while it cost my guildmates over 7k. I think I can still get an ATST much cheaper than my Zabrak guildmates, also.

Obed, where'd you find that info? I was digging around for it yesterday and couldn't find it.

Which part?
A lot of it is personal experience. I've been a Master Smuggler for a LONG time. During that time I've been involved with pretty much every aspect of the smuggler experience (except for the recent spice stacking and I've given up slicing until we get a fix).
