Thread: give your opinions
I see where you're going, in having spices more than mini-buffs. But I'd really rather smuggle spices than craft them.
My dream is to have spices mined in space, but have them impossible to transport without Smuggler skills, whether the mechanic is scan evasion, landing at non-standard starports, a special Smuggler only cargo hold or simply a roll that decides whether you can land or not.
I'd also love to see spice an optional ingredient in Pharmaceuticals, in the same way BE additivies are for food.
This way, we'd have greater JtL/ground game tie in, and the number of professions working for a comon goal - space miners, Smugglers and BEs - would provide nice cross-functionality and synergy*.
* I'm posting from work, so please forgive lapses into Corporate Jargon
