Thread: New Master Smuggler on STARSIDER!

Ok...it's actually an old MS from Bria...


But, a few of my friends have recently rejoined the game to play around with the FS quests...and as luck would have it, they're on Starsider. So, I had to make a choice...


1) Continue grinding my Starsider character toward my Master Smuggler / Master Pistoleer template...


OR


2) Bite the bullet and take advantage of the Character Transfer service offered by SOE and just move my MS / MP from Bria...


I chose option #2...


Itwas actually more painless than I thought it would be. I gave all of my original Starsider stuff to one of my friends, then deleted Tristyn off of Starsider. Then I moved all of my stuff on Bria off of Dreven and onto an alt that's still active there (I wasn't too fond of the idea of tossing almost 6 million creds and several Krayt pistols down the tubes)...then I submitted my character transfer request. Less than 10 minutes later, I was in Bestine on Starsider with a handy new R2 unit, newbie clothes, and 10k creds.


I was actually shocked at how easy it was...

Nice. I've been tempted, but I couldn't part with my clothing, lol. That collection is...massive.

*edit* Out of curiosity, which newb clothing did you get o_O

Yeah...I was actually clothing "poor" on Bria. With all those creds, you'd think I'd have at least a change of clothes or 2...but I never really got into the whole thing with buying clothes and such...


And, I got stuck with the newbie Brawler outfit...which really isn't too bad.


Now, I just need to wait till tomorrow when my friend gets back online so I can get my clamps, WUKs, and knives and start making creds. First thing on my list of things to buy is a new swoop, followed by a new gun or 2...then some armor...clothing is pretty far down on my list of needs...


I'm hoping I can work out a Bria > Starsider credit trade. That would help matters considerably...


One other thing on the transfer...you lose your faction status. Not that it was a big deal for me since I was gonna have to swap factions anyway (I was Reb on Bria...needed to go Imp on Starsider)...

Wella hearty welcome to Starsider from one Master Smuggler to another!


I am an Imperial Colonel Master Smuggler so I should be able to help you out as far as Imperial FP is concerned. I could also toss you a few crates of AUKs, WUKs, Mol. Clamps and PLKs that I have lying about.


My name is Charm-O-Shaun. If it is weapons, armor or anything else that you need, go to the waypoint in my sig. There are other vendors there that carry those items. It is less than a minute out of Coronet starport so you can get everything you need at once place

Ah, if I could bring just my main outfit, I could make do past that point XD

For tonight, I'll probably log in and go collect badges with my friends and see if I can go "Glowy"...not that it matters one way or another to me...but at least I'll be having fun in the game again...
