Thread: A new Galaxy?

Ok, here's the thing. This whole FS quest thing has got me thinking.
They made the main character become the Jedi. My main is a Smuggler and always will be, so I would have to go through the quests (which I have started) to unlock the second character slot, then build up the new character and do it all over again. That's a couple of years before I get a Jedi.
My thought is that I could just go ahead and make a new character (the one that's supposed to be a Jedi) on another server and just get on with it. I could still play my Smuggler whenever I want.
There are negatives, though. First is in-game contacts. I'm a member of a nice PA on Radiant, but would know no one on the new server (of course, this becomes a positive later, as this would double the number of online friends I have). Second is starting funds. Getting cash with a new character can be quick, but not really quick enough to get what you need to start off running.
What does everyone think of this idea?
Anyway, if I go this route, I was hoping my Smuggler friends here could help with these problems (as the Smuggler community is so great, and it's cross-server). If any Smuggler on one of the East Coast servers (I believe they are Bloodfin, Chilastra, Eclipse, Gorath, Kauri, Lowca, Starsider, Tarquinas, and Wanderhome) would like to tell me why their server is so great, help me make some new contacts (friends, maybe a PA) on their server, and maybe help out with a little start-up cash (which would be fully paid back, by the way), please let me know ASAP, as if I decide to do this, I'd like to start tonight.

Ok, I think I'm going to give this a go on Eclipse.
I'm invading your server, Yimaz!
But this character will have a little Smuggler in him too.Just can't get away from it.

I think we should all create an alt on one server and make it the unoffical smuggler server! XD
