TH = Blackman?!
THAT, i did NOT know.
That was a pretty low stunt to pull. Nevertheless, perhaps he was pressurised by his superiors, or it slipped out, or even he plain forgot (none of these are really plausible, but i like to give folks the benefit of the doubt).
Either way, lets see where his current statement leads us.

Heh..Im not giving him the benefit of the doubt because im optimistic. I just stopped caring enough to get all worked up.

Yeah, he's right.
Thunderfart's name is like..."Stengl" or something I think but I dunno. He's still a gimp for lying to us so many times over and over.
And to beat ye ol' dead horse...
The first thing that came to mind when Blackman said that was "Hmmm...maybe my expectations were there because it was on the In Concept page with a set Publish twice, it was announced by the developers as being a profession to be revamped with Chef, Droid Engineer, Image Designer, and Jedi, and we were generally told back in September 2003 that we were in need of the most love."
Now where I got off thinking with those insignificant details that we were going to be touched, looked at, or God-forbid...revamped...I guess that was my mistake. My apologies for ever thinking that after it was posted, planned, and announced that I assumed something would come of it...
P.S. I hope you all got the sarcasm there cause I was laying it on pretty thick.

Hehe...Yes, we got the sarcasm, since i know of this case history.
Unfortunately, i can do nothing but agree with you. Ive seen this happen in many MMOs, and it would have been refreshing to find atleast one that didnt cause so much frustration to the end user. :/
Im just being passive about it because i was reading an article by an ex-programmer who explains why this generally happens. But the point he makes in the final passage is spot on, that despite there being several underlying reasons for delays and retarded decisions on nerfing by devs, it just isnt the problem of the customer. We're forking over the cash....Entertain us.

No doubt some of you have been following the 'In live' forum better than i have. This piece of news is just for those who havent come across it as of yet.
In the 'in-live forums', TH states the following in response to a question posed by a community member as to what is being done regarding the slicing nerf:
"The best hint I have at this time is that I'm working with Blair to get it added into a P10 minipublish."
Sketchy at best, but since i like TH, im willing to exercise patience. My apologies if this has already been posted. Couldnt find it while using the search tool.

You're probably one of the very few, if not only person who does like ThunderHeart. Especially for that remark he made in that one interview(quoted below).
IGN: What kind of message would you give to John Q. Gamer who has been playing the game since launch, sitting around as a Smuggler and looking forward to the combat revamp that’s going to increase the scope of his class? What sort of message would you give him to still stick with the game now that it’s up in the air when that sort of feature, which will enhance his experience, is going to be released?
Blackman: First I’d apologize that we were misleading at all, if that was the case, or if he was misled and had expectations for a Smuggler revamp.
Sorry for beating a dead horse, but that one sentence pissed me off so very much when I read it. All I can say, is that if we do meet in person, he'd better not need my help any.
