Thread: How do you break combat in PvP while Feign Death?

It's happened to me before, and I don't know how they do it. I would like to know so I can tell other people how to break combat with me so they're free to take a shuttle or call a bike or whatever they want to do. I remember once or twice it happened, think it was against a Jedi one time (or both times) but I doubt what profession you are matters.


Does it have to do with unequiping your weapon? Or do they attack someone else and thats break combat with me? What if I'm the only one left? Do they duel someone or is there another way? Running away 200M? Disconnecting and reconnecting? Any help would be much appericated. Thank you.

You don't. Make the sucker pay for ganking you. lol


I hate people who farm off of tefs at the outposts.


But inorder for combat to end you have to stand and hit peace, or you can log out and back in.

I always make them pay for it, and if they are nasty I make sure not to get up for a long time.

Will I still be feign death if I log off and log back in right away?

sometimes to piss them off more if they are nasty I /quit and then come back on stand up take off my armor and then FD again when they try to kill me, thus saving my armor and annoying them even more, But then again i am a TKM so wounds dont bug me very much.

LOL! Some good tips. Thanks guys. I got TK too so wounds is no problem for me. BF? Meh. I can heal it when I'm getting mind buffs.

I remember using this to block someone one day

I was overt, in ST armor, without buff..... Waiting in cantina with a friend (same : ST armor un buffed)

He came for FAR away, saw 2 red dots, and came to us after eating everything his stomach could take

We both died (what? a novice pistoleer/ranger and a smuggler/tka can't take out Mr buffed Dabbler?.... yes...)
I cloned i ran back to him. Since he attacked me, i could attack him again event if i was covert

I stored my armor....
I started hitting him..... but i also saw i would die pretty quick....
Feigndeath....

He was stucked.....
He stopped attacking me, peace.... but was still aiming at me....
Stucked in combat mode....

Shuttle comes....
he tells me "can i take my shuttle please"?
I answered : "i'm supposed to be dead... i'm feigning death, so i can't wake up from deads with all these guys around... Just wait for everyone to go away and i'll consider leaving you take your shuttle"

Because he was lucky and i'm a man you my word, i woke up from death when all guys around took the shuttle....
And he managed to take it 10 secondes before it took off


Only solution to break fight in that case is to go FAR away from the man that is feigning death....
Fight will breack automatically....
