Thread: question on buying FP

I've tried to buy FP from a recruiter with my Master Smuggler alt today after the new publish. I couldn't even get the dialogue option for buying FP though. Are any other Master Smugglers experiencing this?

1) Make sure you're not positive in opposing faction.
2) Make sure you're not on leave.
3) Make sure you're looking for the "I'd like to help...." line.

Is there any other way of being able to buy FP from a recruiter besides Underworld 4? I heard something about being Colonel but as I've just become one I can't see it. (Or does Colonel just reduce the price of FP?)

Anybody can buy faction from any other *player*. But only smugglers with underworld 4 can buy it from a factional recruiter.

Well I'll be.... Somehow, I'd gotten positive in my opposing faction. Time to go kill some rebels to get rid of that.
