They are there, its just that they wont be activated until Pub356 "the smuggler mini-revamp" scheduled for the spring of 2047.

And yet simple toolkits have to be looted and delicate trigger assemblies can be found perfectly intact in the stomachs of krayts dragons next to their very hard gizzard stones (pearls) that grind most things to dust...

Discuss.

Ah, the mysteries of SWG! Those delicate trigger assemblies are found perfectly intact by the crushed bones of smugglers trying to find them. Discuss.

In this game, people can't jump or step over small rocks.

In this game, someone can choke you to death with mystical powers.

In this game, menacing creatures can literally appear out of thin air right in front of you.

In this game, I can shoot you in the family jewels... and you don't grab the bloody remains of your crotch and fall down.

DISCUSS!

Yeah, some things in this game just don't make sense.

Oh you must be mistaken.

When I suggested early on that in the Greenmarine thread that I'd like to see the parts drop off of random spawns like the Gorax and GM said something to the effect that "I fail to see how an assembly could survive in a Gorex" it indicated that no no no, pieces couldn't fall off big monsters like a Gorax or a Kraytt.

OH wait, was this Plan C then?

/sarcasm.

Sorry - grumpy this morning.

That trigger is mine. I had one in my inventory when I was killing Krayts the other day... Could I have it back please.

didnt he say something more along the lines of..

I'd be interested to see what happens to a delicate trigger assembly after its been in the stomach of a Krayt" Hinting that it might not be the BEST delicate trigger assembly due to the likely degredation from the dragons stomach?

Thats the way i read it anywya

Actually the exact quote was:

"I would also like to seed these items out that way, although I don't know how a delicate trigger assembly would survive a week inside a Gorax or Krayt stomach."

My read on it was he didn't think it was a good idea

WAIT - I KNOW - the best assemblies would be the ones you make....... er.... wait, no that's not it either

I think he was being serious, those things don't last 15 minutes after spawning usually, let alone a week.
