does that slice actually do anything? it is worth the attempt and what professions and shots does that slice help? thnx

LIES!!!
It makes the word "Critical" appear over the target's head. Other than that, it does nothing.

I could swear I have a working critical slice. In P19 I used it on my E11 and ran a quick lookie at my logs whenever I saw a critical shot, which appears to have given a 1.2x damage modifier (IOW, 20% more damage).. did it break between P19 and P20? Am I missing something? Or am I just crazy lucky?

I just said this in another thread, but here goes again... 
The problem with the Critical Hit slice is that it does NOT do any additional damage when it scores a +CRITICAL+. Unless you're already using an attack like "Critical Shot" that has a critical chance built in.
But if you use something like Body Shot or Quick Draw or something, you will see no extra damage done when you score a Critical hit.
Bug? Sure is.
Corbin, were you using the actual Critical Shot attack(or something similar that has a chance of additional damage) when you noticed the damage increase?

Yeah, I know, talking in two threads lol. sorry.
I used imp. leg shot with my E11 and saw a 20% damage increase (1.2x) on critical shots in my log. No BH in my temp at all.
[edit] Again wanted to add that it was only a L2 crit (+5% proc) slice, NOT a L3.
It might have actually worked for me with these circumstances..
