When i choose slice of the radial menu, nothing happens. the rifle has never been sliced, and is not biolinked, nor does it have a powerup. I am not as experienced as others with smuggler, still i can read the forums and have not seen anyone else post with this same problem.

Weapons sliced before the slicing patch have a display bug which does not show their status as being "modified by a smuggler". I can almost gaurantee this is the case. All pre-slice-patch weapons are considerd to have 100% customization, and thereby not be able to be sliced furthur/again.

Unless of course you simply dont have the prerequisite loot part for the level of slice you are attempting?

If you don't want me to "play the forums," then I suggest you make time playing the game more rewarding and less repetitive than "playing" here!

i did not know about the display bug, it is most likely pre pub 19 sliced. it's base dps is only 307, so i didnt beleive it had been sliced before. ah well, thnx for help

When "Slice" appears on the radial menu but nothing at all happens when you select it, that indicates that theitem was sliced before publish 19. No message, no tag on the item. Lack of communication? How shocking...

I believe that items sliced after publish 19 will show "Slice" on the radial menu,but selecting itwillproduce a message indicating that theitem can not be customized any further.

If you lack the appropriate tools, you can get through a few steps, but you will be informed that you don't have the proper equipment.

Finally, I think bio-linked items do not give the radial menu option to slice.
