We're smugglers, right?

We can play with weapons and armor to push them above their intended limits, right?

That would imply that we know, at least, something about the crafting of these weapons, right?

Then why could we get some schematics that would come in under the Underworld tree for *Special* components to add to armors and weapons that increase their manufactured abilities. Similar to Nightsister Shards or Janta Hide and all that stuff.

Don't tell me it doesn't make sense... we can tinker with them AFTER they make them, why not before too?

Okay, I'll stop with all the double spacing now... In order for this to work, I must say that I back the whole "No sliced items can be sold on vendors" movement. Clearly if the merchant is registering their vendor with the world map, this would indicate that they are connected to a network of computers that you can check, and that ULTIMATELY would be monitored by the Empire. Therefore, anyone selling sliced items OR spice (yes, I'm adding spice onto this) would be found, apprehended, and prosecuted (To Kessel with you, you dirty dirty merchant). However, if they use our components to BOOST the finished product, this would be harder to find. Allow weapons crafted with these special parts to be sold on vendors, since they are harder to identify (The parts are built in, and the Imperial anti-tampering device has not been tampered with, which is how they identify sliced items).

This, I feel, would help the economy some. Now, weapon and armor smiths can chose to use these or not. Their items will still be good quality with out them, but they will be worth even more if they are made with "modified" parts. These items should have a check with the Imperial Crackdown (Which is right now, a joke, make them catch people more often), but they should be MUCH harder to find. Allow these items to be sliced as well, HOWEVER, ANYONE carrying a weapon that is made with smuggler componets AND sliced AUTOMATICALLY triggers the Crackdown and have them respond En Masse. I'm not talking four or five ST's, I'm talking about calling in the troops. Ten to twelve ST's, and maybe even a AT-ST. If they get caught MAKE THEM PAY!!!

Well, this is my 2 cents, if you would like to comment or expand on what I have said, feel free. All that I ask is that you make the response CONSTUCTIVE. That is C-O-N-S-T-R-U-C-T-I-V-E. Constructive, for those of you who are still in grade school (Or never finished...) means no flaming, no whining, no cursing, or anything else that Myself, The Devs, or EITHER OF OUR GRANDMOTHER'S would find offensive or just down-right rude.
