First thing you should do is read the sticky at the top of the forum. There you will findalmost everything you need to know. There is not much that someone can help you with in game that can't be done here. Most of us here are a friendly andhelpful.

You have the schematic to make laser knives, just get your self a generic crafting tool and some crappy metal and make a bunch. Also they sell for cheap on the bazaar.


As far as molecular clamps( yes you can use them at novice),these can be found on the bazaar as well. Steer clear of Flow analyzer nodes (FANs) unless you don't mind failing 25% of the time
