I am posting this because many people are saying 1337 d00d's suck stuff like that. Most of the people who consideer themselves 1337 aren't. If you want to see some 1337 players log on to ut2004 yes you will see the players saying i pwonwned you and sutff like that. However, when you look up to the top of the score boards you will somtimes see names of people who aren't saying anything at all. they are just playing their game as hard and the best they can. those people right there are true 1337 and many 1337s I know in this game are just like evreyone else in this game. They are just playing the game for what they want not concentrating on pvp skills. I personally consider myself 1337 and I am sickin with the whole pvp expreince as is. It concentraits on skill mods and highest dmging weapon and little skill is required just spaming. I feel your pain but I just wanted to express my point on this fact.
going for master pistoleer, master smuggler

You're taking the name out of context. While 1337 does indeed refer to those that are elite at a particular game etc. , it is not those people that we are referring too. The most avid role player can be extremely proficient at PvP and other aspects of the game. I infact used to be a frequent and somewhat skilled counterstrike player, and I'm sad to say that I've experienced just as many morons playing that as I have in SWG. The group of people we refer to with that tag are those that run around speaking in '1337' an example of said language:"omfg hax u $ux!! hahahaah! pwned ur 4$$". They type this junk out with no attempt at irony and no doubt in their mind that they are extremely 'cool' and generally great, for they are owning and annoying people, which is obviously funny.
These are the people we are referring to.

There are 1337 dorks in any online game , mechwarrior 4 was full of them , along with alot of very nice people who are just playing for the pure fun of it. I use that example because its the only other online game I have played and enjoyed inspite of the above mentioned dill holes. Goes with the territory I guess.

just to clear it up when i say 1337 d00dz im not talking about the players who truely are elite, im talking about the 13 yeear olds thinking they are 1337, running around talking in bad 1337 speak, acting like nobody else matters and being generally rude and inpolite. the model being a spoiled kid whos parents does anything for him and gives him anything he wants, and is thinking the rest of us should to. THe type of person who wants buffs, armor, slices and everything else without paying the cost of it.

wesBelden I figuered you meant those people, but i just don't like 1337 name being dragged througth the mud. also, I just wanted to clear up the term 1337. hehe I also don't mind the 2 star rating. I almost regret posting this because it really has nothing to do with smuggler profession and it shouldn't be posted on this forum but I wanted the people who I saw using the term 1337 to see it so I did.
Thank you all for your post

I maintain that anyone who has to run around spamming how 1337 they truely are, aren't! I got no problem with the real elite players who know exactly how good they are and don't need to say anything to back up their actions. As I posted earlier today, the kid who runs through Coronet telling everyone "Duel me! Duel me!" is likely just coming out of the cloning tank after having his a$$ handed to him by someone who's truely 1337. As long as someone's gaming experience doesn't interfere with my enjoyment, I got no beef. It's when i'm trying to have fun and get spammed with 1337 d00d speak, "duel me $0 1 c4n pwn U" crap that forces me to log off to keep my sanity that I get truely ticked.
