You get 250xp per container.

Slicing 1 - 20 containers

Slicing 2 - I forget how much xp was needed

Slicing 3 - 100 containers, better off slicing survival knives or cdef pistols

Go ahead and get you 250 Weapon Upgrade Kits (WUKs), from a weaponsmith

When you get onto slicing I buy 250 clamps make a few crates of laser knives and buy every cdef pistol you can find!

You can't slice weapons untill you have Slicing 2.

so many, also depends if you use clamps - if you do you need 50,000 exp - each container is 250 so 50 containers

anybody correct me if i'm wrong....but after you reach slice I you can also slice terminals: and after slice II weapons and so on

You can slice terminals with Slicing 1, but it's only 100xp a shot and you can only do it every 2 min. To get Slicing 1 and 2 done I asked everyone I knew to save containers for me. Once I hit Slicing 2 I bought 300 clamps and 300 survival knives and finished off slicing in no time at all. Btw, a weapon is also 250xp.

A WUK is a Weapon Upgrade Kit (used in slicing weapons)made by any weaponsmith if they are willing. An AUK is an Armor Upgrade Kit made by any willing armorsmith.

Ok, cool. I will slice as many containers as I can get and go from there. One more thing, for crafting exp, should I just run a 4 station crafting macro using p.l.knives on practice mode? I was told that was the way to go.

slicing1 20 containers 5,000xp
slicing2 40 containers 10,000xp
slicing3 100 weapons 25,000xp
slicing4 200 weapons 50,000xp


Here is what I did, buy beg steal whatever the 60 containers. Get slicing2. Then either find a good weaponsmith friend or have novice artisan and a factory. Run off 400 survival knives, and 400 fans. Don't piss with buying clamps, make your own fans. You'll get 75% success with them, and you need to slice 300 weapons to get slicing4, hence why you just made 400 knives. Then find some weaponsmith and work out a deal for wuks, or schematics. Whatever you need to do. I'd recommend trying to get 1,000, the 400 your going to use to get slicing4, and then enough to get you into business afterwards.
