As far as I know BHs are happy because we can now actually complete a bounty instead of having to sit in front of a FD body. Or instead of being locked in combat by a mark till his friends arrive...

BHs have nothing against the real smugglers, if the Devs give me an ability to check if a mark is dead or FD and DB the FD Jedi, it's fine for me.

How about you all push to have FD fixed and "balanced" with the CU, so that real smugglers can still feign instead of starting a war with the BH community?

This is why I don't like FD:

-Jedi using it to avoid the exp loss and let guildies gank the BH

-BHs using it to avoid death and keep the bounty, or to DoT the mark then feign.

-DoT types using it to DoT everybody (esp CM/smuggler alts) then FD.. lame.

I know man, as I know that the Devs sometimes ignore the constructive changes.. I've asked for ways to check if a Jedi mark was really death or FD (instead of "nerf FD"), as I have asked for improvements to Master BH, to stop the TKM/inv3 fashion (cause melee+inv3 are actually "better" than Master BHs, vs Jedi) but no, the Devs didn't change it..

What I'm trying to suggest is that it is better to be constructive and keep up the hope than declaring war to the BH community.. I didn't hate the whole Jedi community for the login/logout things or for FD, in fact I had a list of the exploiters to be able to pick their missions and let the honest ones go for a while after they fixed the login/logout exploit.

For the same reason, I don't blame Smugglers for FD, I blame those Jedi who play careless and show off just because then they can FD if a BH shows up.

BH did not get this nerfed. Jedi got this nerfed by using it to circumvent the legal collection of their bounty. Jedi used this so their friends could drag the FDed corpse back to town and let their city militia girlfriends open up on solo BH.

Either way you stop slicing for BH if it makes you feel like the BMOC, I am sure their are plenty more smugglers that will gladly accpet the extra business due to your moronic outlook on things. Shame you are not on my server as I would gladly accpet the extra business of slicing for BHs

You really don't get it, do you? The smuggler profession just lost one of its most useful skills and you think they're upset because jedi can't use it. Get a clue. This problem should have been solved on the jedi or the BH end, it should not have brought the bat down on smugglers. Other people play this game besides the BH and jedi, and they shouldn't be punished for the abuse of their skills by other classes.

If you can't understand why a smuggler would be upset by the BH correspondent rejoicing at the nerf of his profession, I think we all know who the real moron is.

I have been a smuggler since I started playing this game in november 2003. I am not upset at tanks or BH, I am however pissed with the Jedi Hyrbid bastardized templates that used one of MY PROFEESIONS working skills to GRIEF another profession to the extent that one of MY SMUGGLER skills got nerfed.

So you see I have no issue with the BH community as they were more often than not on the other end of a FDed Jedi talking smack to them or getting their corpse dragged back to their city so their Jedi Grilfriend militia squad could raise hell.

Look at it objectively, of course tanks is gonna be happy that BH can now collect the legal Boutbies on Jedi heads, he is not rejoicing coz we got nerfed, he is happy because Jedi can no loner exploit a system they should never have been allowed access to.

i have to disagree with your last statement Wildman, Tanks is happy because FD got removed, not because BH can collect their bounties.
If tomorrow Jedi find another way to escape death, he will ask for this way to be nerfed.

There could have been easy ways to tweak the bounty mechanics in order to give them credit for "killing" the mark. They could have gotten paid if the mark FDed, they could have been given a skill that helps to see through FD...

There was a battle over FD between BH and Jedis, and we are the ones taking the shaft, i fail to see the logic here.

Just keep blaming the jedi when there were a few threads each day on the BH board crying to "nerf" FD, not fix. Then notice that this rejoice came instead of a tempered response...maybe one that even said some of the suggestions that smugglers have been making for months should have been used. Heck, before JTL came out I remember us going around about how to fix this, and moving the skill to the master box was brought up frequently. This would have removed it from the hands of jedi.

Also note that I'm not the one without of control of my emotions. You would be the one blindly throwing hate at the jedi saying that they're griefing, that they're all smack talkers, etc. I was saying that it's not hard to see where the anger comes from, though I don't agree with the method of reprisal since it lumps the entire group together.

You're also the one that called him a "jedi fanboi" for being upset that his profession's skill was nerfed. This is just so soaked with misdirected childish rage, I don't know why I even bother...probably because I can't help but point it out.

Oh, and I love the 1 staring angry BH coming to visit the smuggler board on this one. Nice to see the developers bringing everyone together.

Hey people FD is the dumbest skill for pvp for the simple fact we know you are not dead

I will make this comparisian 1 more time, if you were in a real fight , you fire one shot and the person falls as if

they are dead any intelligent person would walk over and put a bullet in his head to make sure that they actually are

dead. does any one know how this will work for PVE? well anyway it is a stupid move for PVP.

BS. Jedi didn't get this nerf'd. BHs use the skill, too so don't even try it.
