Ok, this is worrying me a bit...
After the GCW update, combatants are able to attack PvE bases, without anyone being able to do anything about it, since combatants can not be attacked by other players.
Somehow i have the feeling lots of people will get a personal PvE farming base from the oposite faction (or just walk in to a player city that has one of those bases up) where they can afk-macro their needed factionpoints.
Am I the only one that sees this next blow to smugglers comming?

I have a feeling that faction rewards for NPCs tied to bases that are PvE only will be very low.

Not only that, the forces defending the bases are far stronger than the bases in live; it should hopefully be a challange for a group to take them on. Not to mention the fact that the system encourages you to ensure there are less opposing faction's bases on the planet.

and it seems to have one or two 120k ham npc in PVE bases, so the afk macro is'nt a very good idea.....

OK, if they are too strong to solo that's nice. Considering the 2nd part, people might not place those bases for themselfs then but could still go to an oposing faction city and have "fun" there without anyone being able to do anything about it..
Hmm, sounds more like I'm nagging about taking out tef's of the game now then my intentional subject...
