was reading the dev chat and saw this

Brekkee - *Smuggler_NickHeel* Tiggs recently said that the Smuggler Revamp is being worked on right now. We were told it was going to be a very open revamp process. What can you tell us, the Smugglers, about our revamp?
swgdevrthornton - We're in the early design stages of figuring out what to do for the smuggler revamp and are having design sessions where we are talking over what we want to play and discuss what the players have expressed that they want.
swgdevrthornton - At the moment we're discussing our vision and features and filling that out in preparation for discussing it with the players.

i dont know if it's just me but werent they saying the smuggler revamp was in its early stages many, many months ago?

A Smuggler revamp proposal was presented to the community for publish 9; suffice to say it didn't go down well, being several miles off the mark from the community's desires and aspirations. Other design work has doubtless gone on before and after that, but given the game is moving in a new direction, what with the CU and other profession revamps coming aswell (not to mention all the feedback and ideas we've generated), they've no doubt had to re-think some aspects of the profession's design.

Hopefully we'll get to see stuff on this soon, until then I'll be waiting, laser knife at the ready to start dissecting anything they throw our way
