I would like to take a minute to address all of my fellow Smugglers.

Ok, we got screwed....again. But, we might as well face the facts that the devs have made up their minds on this one, and like the PS nerf, no amount of bitching and griping about it is going to get them to change their minds.

I look at the first page of this forum and I see over half of the threads with either direct or indirect discussion of this FD change.

Granted, alot of it has quieted down over the last day or so, but there's still hostility. And, for the COMMUNITY, that hostility is not healthy...at least not in the way that's it's being voiced and the direction it's being focused in.

So, what I'm asking is, if you must post about it, use one of the existing threads (the "Request for an answer from the devs" thread seems like a good one) so we can centralize the issue instead of having it spread all over the forums. And, when you do post, use your head. Don't spout flames and abuse. Post clear, concise opinions, and, not that it'll do any good, but post alternative proposals to back up your opinions.

Basically, I just want to get the Smuggler forum moving back in the direction of the light-hearted, cynical, sarcastic, fun-loving, helpful community that we were a week ago.

If you look around at all the poses from over the weekend, there are quite a few [Edited] tags on them. I could be wrong, but that gives me the impression that people are calming down and (maybe) taking back some of the comments they made.

That, or they were too p!ssed to type well and are correcting their typos.
