Thread: Rebel Marine armor???

Ok, I know it's not realy a Smuggler deal, or that big of a deal at all, but what happoned to the small Rebel sign on the chest piece of the marine armor, I liked it, and last night I bought a set and no Rebel sign??? Once again, it's a small detail, but....

The one with the insignia is a loot from the corvette.

I bought the one with the insignia from the recruiter, I'm almost positive becuase I bought it, had it in my house for a while, and then sold it to a friend that still has it, and said it is on it.

What can I say... I bought a few from recruiters, all without.
Looted one withfrom the vette myself, so did friends.

Heh, when the GCW changes went into effect, I figured that more people were buying the armor, and that they had added the insignia as part of a ramping up to the CU, since the CU version apparently has the insignia... My marine armor predates the GCW update, so when I was buying some armor as part of a faction sale, imagine my surprise when the Chestplate didn't have the "tulip" as people call it. Personally I think it looks more like a weird bird.
I believe you can also loot a rebel-logoed shirt from the imperial corvette missions, that'd be neat to have, but I'd hate to think where it came from

You'd think more people would buy it, except that it looks stupid, and completely made up in this game. The only real rebel uniform is the one that they wear on the corvette in a New Hope(with the cool white helmets).
It wasn't until they released the corvette in the game that these npcs even came about, called "Rebel Ensigns" and what not. At least now, with the GCW revamp, we see those npcs on the ground. The annoying though, is that they are all human. They should let us buy THAT uniform from rebel recruiters. I'd wear it.
The blue suit, black vest and slick gaurd helmet.

I have the Rebel shirt, it's cool, but I still want the chest piece with it on there...

Technically, that isnt a rebel uniform, either, thats the uniform of the Alderaanian security forces. Although Alderaan were allied with the rebels, at that time, they were part of the imperial senate, which was disbanded during ANH.
It was only by the end of ANH, and into ESB and RotJ we see rebel uniforms, such as the orange flightsuits, the Hoth clothing, and the Helmet/poncho garb in Endor.

yeah rebel logos are loot from the vette normal marine armor has no logo. I also thought the logo was a stylized bird rather then a flower. The armor is actully mon cal race armor rather then rebel armor but thats a subject for a post done before 1am

I have a rebel marine chest piece that has the insignia on it and I am 100% positive it came from a recruiter as I distinctly remember getting it. That, and I have never been on the corvette.

What they're saying is this:
Pre GCW patch: Rebel insignia came with the armor from the recruiter
Post GCW patch: Recruiter armor does not come with the insignia and that the only way to get the armor with insignia is to loot it from the Corvette.
