I have a DE-10 made with 160 max dmg tissues which came out to be around 450 max damage unsliced. I won't be using it until the CU goes live (dropping crafting and picking up pistoleer). The question I face is whether to slice it now or wait until the CU and/or smuggler revamp.

What do you guys think?

If it were me, I would wait... especially if you want damage enhancement. Since you're waiting anyway, it only makes sense to me to wait to slice it.

Lol... I have the same thing going on myself... And I chose wait... (and beleive me, as much as I want to, I'm not TOUCHING my de-10)

Thanks guys, I'll take your advice and wait.

Btw, if the CU is planned for May 5 (prolly later though), when is the smuggler revamp planned for? I couldn't find an approximate date on the forums.

Ok..I may be a complete nub...but where do you get the schematic and parts for a DE-10?

schematic and barrals (yes theres 2 types

) are dropped in the death watch bunker. 2 barrall types are a white and yellow version (cand be identified by the colour of the parts text). Since its such a special weapon tho most tend to go for krayt tissue to enhance it more. All together a top of the range uber de-10 can go for millions. Check your suppliers and vendors, failing that buff up and head to DWB.

As a Dev would say... "soon".

But I'd say the revamp will come three to six months (or more) after the CU is out. We'll probably be one of the last professions revamped. The Devs will find another excuse why they have to push back the revamp. Like the revamp wont benefit us unless the Nuna and Kreetle revamp is out first...

First thing first, DO NOT wait to pick up pistoleer until after the CU. Things will make it a lot harder to grind it to master in my opinion. Start grinding it the last half of April. Second thing weapons are so overpowered now do you honestly think that SOE is going to give us the option of picking damage slices if they are going to be really uber 35% type slices???? I think not. If I were you I would slice it now before 35% slices are a thing of the past.
