it seems they've changed some of the weapon certs around once again on TC-ep3.
unless i missed this in a previous patch...
but they wiped all weapons with this last patch, and wheni was collecting new pistols from the frog i noticed that the DL-44 xt is now a generic level 54 certification. no more master Smuggler, no more master Pistoleer.
i didn't notice if any other weapon certs had changed because i only picked up the weapons i needed.

I could never go though all that you guys and gals have in TC. The constant changes would drive me crazy...

no the DL-44 xt is still a top end pistol. it's just for anyone level 54 and up. no more specific master box to use it.

LD-1 is a level 54 rifle, and it pales next to the master level rifleman rifles. It's best to think of level 54 guns as a tier 4 gun. Good, useable, but not the one you want going into a tough fight.

hmm the LD-1 is now level 50. 
and that's actually the best rifle i can use since i'm not a rifleman.
i'm liking the new certification system more now though. having that rifle available to me has come in handy in some tuff spots.
oh i thinkthey also made the DE-10 the best pistol again. the Republic blaster and FWG5 area close second though.

I'm happy they wised up about the de10's..I know a few people that would cancel immediately if they found out their 4mil de10 (in resources alone), along with their ADK was worse then a noob gun....lol
but I don't like this thing about removing certs....I think every profession should have ONE gun that's their preferred choice...if they want to remove certs, fine, but couldn't they at least add some sort of profession specialization to a particular gun? Like for smugglers, give smugglers a bonus accuracy or something when using the dl44xt. Other people can still use the dl44xt to the best of their abilities, but smugglers still have an edge.

Odd thing, I logged in today and noticed the same thing about the Dl 44 XT.
The DE 10 is the same way, also requires Level 54 combat and NO Profession requirment. Just to eb certain I tested it out with some profession combos, and could equip it just fine.
