Thread: I'm confused about smug/bh vs smug/pistoleer stats

When i had smug/pistoleer I had
speed 110
accuracy 215
melee defense 180
ranged defense 185
when i respecced smuggler/bh i now have
85
170
165
185
am i missing something?
i was able to get master marksman with smug/pistol but now i cant with smug/bh im guessing that is a big part of the problem. If this is the case, then what makes bh so much better than pistol? I havent played since december so i'm awfully confused right now. Thanks for the help!

Im confused your Smuggler/pistoleer stats are higher then the smuggler/bh stats sooooo not sure why you think the smuggler/bh stats are higher, unless you posted them backwards.

oh i was just saying "what makes bh so much better" because i've been seeing people on the forums saying that... of course ive seen people say pistoleer is better also... but you catch my drift... i hope

MBH is better because:
- Better (in that they are more damaging and cause DoTs) abilities.
- Assault Armor Certs.
- Content.
- Variety in Master Weapons.
For me Pistoleer and Smuggler overlapped too much and I felt I would be going overboard with Crowd Control when what I really needed was some specials that made my targets hurt a little bit.

3 little words make BH better for me....Czerka Dart Carbine...I love that damn gun.

I always went with Pistoleer/smuggler just cause I had to use pistol with smuggler. I did master carbine once and had lot of fun in a group with it. May go that route.

I found M. Smuggler/M. Pistoleer was repetitive also so I went the BH route. Now, I did keep one special in pistoleer that I find is a must have...intimidate shot. Your opponent doing less dmg to you is always good.
