i noticed that you get unarmed mods in the smuggler tree.


would a smuggler/tkm template be viable?


i was thinking youd be able to use your smuggler skills to be able to get to the target to start tanking them (if they are aggro on a teammate for example).


i dunno.....just a thought i had......anyone able to confirm or disprove this template?

You could pick up some pistoleer to use the smuggler pistol specials to root an enemy and/or state it, then move into close quarters and start beating the crap out of 'em.

Well both profs required the unarmed line, which makes it easier to pick up TK. And we do get some melee mods - melee defense, unarmed speed and accuracy. But as of right now, no smuggler specials worked unarmed - except Feign Death. They are all ranged specials. I'm hoping that with our revamp we actually get some use for the unarmed prerequisite.

I occasionaly use TK to beat up Imperial NPC's in cities, but other than that the only other use I have for it right now is not having to purchase armor.

Cancelled 7/27/05 - I joined to play Star Wars, not Jedi-BH Wars. You've ignored/gutted/abused just about every other profession in the game, while spending most of your time working on Jedi and BH as they related to Jedi. You've basically killed the game for anyone who doesn't want the glowstick. Congratulations.

One of my best friends was TKM/MS but he feels TK is too nerfed right now


Which is a pity because /meditate is far too sexy

i see you are tk/smuggler/commando.....i was actually thinking of picking up some commando to make the smuggler specials a bit more devastating.


would you mind telling me what your template is?


i think im going to try it out so i could use some tips on what you have found works well

Master Smuggler/TKM/Commando 0440. I can use the rocket launcher, flamethrower, lightning beam cannon, and Heavy Particle Beam Cannon. All of which come in handy if I need to, say, root about a half a dozen mobs with one shot. They seem a bit bugged right now in that while the states are applied in a radius around the target, there is little to no damage done to anyone except the target. I'm gonna stick with it and see what comes of it. I do like those heavy weapons though.

I am a Master Smuggler and Teras Kasi Master and i can say im totally happy with the mix i have moves for any situation that arises


Ican melee and tank or mezz then melee and tank or just plane shoot the crap outta stuff


mix in a few commando defenses and pistoleer tree defenses


med, powerboost,inate armour that works while shooting too , i love it


just my opinion

It is a very viable template. The tka animations are pretty crappy right now, but the innate armor is a good asset to any profession.
