Hehe. Honestly, it's always been like that in here. I think those that post in here tend to be "real", dyed-in-the-wool Smugglers, and that attracts a certain kind of person. Just like our canonical brethren, we seem to stick together pretty well, and have a sort of camraderie going on that translates over to new players pretty well. It's always felt, in here, not unlike hanging around a cantina swapping stories of bad spice runs and telling outrageously exaggerated stories of beautiful girls and so on. At least, to me.

There's also some that would indicate when you've been waiting on the Devs as long as we have, you learn perspective. And there is some truth in that, too.

/bow , yea , ive noticed that on here too , a lot less whinin , an more optimism an a sense of lets have some fun , i think we take this a bit to seriously sometimes , yea i know i pay 9 quid a month for it , but its only 9 quid an theres enough stress in RL that i dont need it here , i play this game cos firstly ive been a star wars fan since i was a kid an saw anh in 77 , an its a nice escape an relax from the real world ' plus the funniest posts are on this forum aswell , lol , smugglers roooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!

It's kinda the the way we are around here. In fact, it's one of the major reasons I'll never drop Smuggler. The people in here are a breed of their own. The nature of Smuggler (especially up to this point, pre CU) was such that it attracted a different kind of player. And I for one LOVE it.

While I'm bragging I'll send out thanks to the Smuggler brothers as well. Always a pleasure, gents.

totally agree. we are a special breed. Seems to be mostly positvie stuff happening here

What made me happiest, is that when I finally did drop Smuggler for a month or two(needed a break, but it was still the hardest thing I've ever done in this game), noone around here treated me any different. No "You dropped it, so stay out of our business!" and stuff you sometimes get elsewhere. Made me happy, especially since I always knew I'd be coming back.

Because this is a community first, I think.

Yeah, that's a large part of it. Also, Smugglers just aren't that uptght. Ever see Solo or Calrissian or Karrde screaming about their profession being broke? Nope. Just roll with it, man. We'll /lowblow them all when it matters. Unless it's still broke. But there's always Last Ditch. XD
