Hello. Today I was having some duels with a guildie to test out last ditch on a jedi and it seemed to be broken for me. First of all, it would incap me every single time and that was even with my friend standing there not attacking me. A couple nights ago I tested last ditch and it wouldn't incap me, but just drop all my ham bars down to near zero. Is this instant incap happenning to anyone else and is this the way it is supposed to be??? Second, it would show that I hit him for 1k damage in the combat log yet I could't see his health bar drop and he said the same thing. Anyone else notice this???

Try using it when your health is already extremely low. It is a genuine last-ditch attack, not simply a means of hitting for more damage. At low health (almost zero) i have attacked for over 6K damage ( love that plasma flamer ) and not been incapped. My opponent was, though.

Does the damage that got you to really low health have to be from your target? Because I tried using it to incap myself, then on a target once I got up (with VERY low health)... It ended up just capping me again, showing 7k damage, but not actualy damaging it... Maybe it's some kind of safeguard?

Well yesterday I was fighting a mob, who incapped me (I was not quick enough on the LD lol)
After the incap timer, I went up, very low health (you know, how you are right after coming up from an incap) but almost full action and mind bar, so I hit LD and killed the mob outright. And no, didn't incapped myself in the process.

Hmmm I will have to experiment with it more then I guess. Yeah I was almost at 0 health when I used it but it didn't do much damage to the jedi becuase he was using some special that increased his defenses by 500!!! I also tried using after I would get up from an incap and that is when I did the most damage, but it would still incap me even though my friend was not attacking. Just to make sure, we tried a couple duels on his riflewoman alt. and I did hit her for alot of dmg and incap her, but I was still incapped as well. So to me, it doesn't seem like it is working as what is the point in using Last Ditch if it incaps me as well. I understand that it is supposed to drop all my bars down to near zero, but I didn't think it was supposed to be an instant incap.

It's not working for me either. It was a few nights ago.

When I last experimented I made sure my health was low but the damage I dealt was abismal. I would be incapped instantaeously as well.

I took it off my hotbar for now.
