Ok I respeced my second accont to Master Smuggler, for slicing my armor and supplying faction points to my armorsmith cheap and guildys.
My question is I heard that the reason you can sell faction points cheap now is because if you do it from your own faction base the money goes into the maintance is this true?
Also does it matter from where you buy the points?

The lowest you can do it for is cost. Someone posted that to be around 75cr/fp. Add to that the FP transfer ratio, Colonels get the best rates at 1.13 (1.18? it's been awhile) per point. So it costs a colonel 1.13fp to give you 1fp. That means you need to buy more than the customer wants, so price goes up.
The money does go into maintenance the last I knew, (may have changed in a year), so it's not a bad thing to do the transactions at your own faction base if possible, (the added security of a posse may also deter PvPers from ganking you while you try adn make a living
).
Doesn't matter where you buy them from as far as pricing. Just as noted above.
