Thread: non combat smuggler??
I've settled fairly comfortably into smuggling for the Empire. Currently I have it paired with TK and some pistoleer, or pistoleer and some tk. Neither of these is equivalent to my previous happiness with tkm / master smuggler / master pistoleer.
Since i find combat now to be a dreary and depressing thing, and no where near as good as the combat i enjoy in WoW (which i play regularly as well. PvP was once my only true love in this game, and since i am not a jedi that has definitely fallen by the wayside. and i more than get my pk fix in WoW =P) I'm pondering the idea of doing something like master musician or master image designer instead of a second combat profession.
My only worry with this is that...with the ever elusive smuggler revamp, will my being less than stellar in combat and having less hit points be severely detrimental? Or will I still be able to have a fulfilling smuggler career?
This is the question I have. Suggestions Welcome!
Now do PvP in space and still good in groups for CC on ground.
as far as bh goes...thanks but no thanks. i have little interest in jedi or anything that concerns them, and the less light sabers i see, the happier i am =P
im pretty damn sure im gonna do musician, im just worried that when/if the revamp comes, i will be in trouble and not able to do my smuggler acitivies.
If you become a musician I willlisten toyou and you alone every time I stop by the Cantina. Sorry, didn't know about the tailor thing, else I wouldn't have suggested coming to my girlfriend's (R/L wife's) shop. As for bounty hunters, I didn't mean Be, one...just hang out with Ricel and I.

well soemtimes i do still shop at other tailor's, and in fact i have patronized her shop before, previous to me having a tailor (in between them rather ive gone through three now lol). =)
and yes, musician it will be, expect to see me playing at all the Tatooine cantinas coming soon! =) (like tonite!!)
Not to sound generic, but do what keeps you here. If you love pvp then double up the combat. Although if your more of a social butterfly/deviant and not so much a "CHOP A HEAD OFF AND LAUGH DEVIANT" , then go for that musician. That date under your name indicates to me that losing you would be a bad thing. Save the vets. BH was kind of a drag, was fun at first , but got really old.

I wish Smuggler wasn't all pistol combat xp now too,
I dance when I get tired of missions and the like. Of course I strongly recommend trying to RP with some folks. I don't know how anyone can play this game and always xp/combat grind every log in. Mix it up.

Swap TK4000 for Pistoleer0004 and suddenly all your wounds are gone....
