Thread: Gettin' Faction to sell from Combat, not recruiters

Howdy Folks. My good friend in RL has been a smuggler from the beginning and with respec he persuaded me to join you all. That being said, we are looking for ways to obtain Faction without having to buy it to increase our profit margins. We have both decided to split factions, he will be rebel, I will be imperial. My question is where to grind out Imp faction at a satisfactory pace post-cu.
For Rebels: Pre CU i used the Imp-Rebel battlefield on corellia. I tried this Post-Cu and found with scatter shot and some others thrown in there, this was just as effective. In fact, i did it naked with a medium qulity weapon so I would not lose out on equipment deteriation. Additionally, I could smoke the At-St without much problem. So even post CU this is a viable faction gold mine.
For Imps: I have never played as one so I am looking for your ideas.

Best way I have found is as a pilot.
I'm an imp on the group but a neutral master pilot, so I just declare Imp and head into deep space.

As a Rebel, I feel dirty for helping, but I'm a smuggler first, freedom fighter second. 
For Rebel FP, you've got a couple options. I'd either hit the Rebel Outpost on Rori and turn all the NPCs there into julienne fries, or I'd go up into space, declare, and find some decent Rebel ship spawn points to tear up.

as a rifleman pistoleer bh you have 3 good area attacks, scatter shot, fan shot, and busrt shot. I could go to both the talus and dant imp op and blast away at the20-30 or so stormtroopers and down them all fairly quickly and only getting down to 1/3 health in about 30 seconds the base would be clear and i'd move on to the next imp npc base. its much better then farming at the outposts.
