Thread: Smuggler Loot?...From Locked Containers?

I was bored last night and cruising around checking out vendors for some random junk and came across one with 14 Locked Containers for 4K each. I bought out all of them and sliced them open. I couldn't believe my luck I ended up with 3 shock padding, 1 core and a Finely Tuned Crafting kit. Didn't know locked containers were dropping this stuff. Anyone else have good luck on locked containers? Or was it just a fluke?

I looted a locked container with a piece of Shock Absorbent Padding off of a lvl 15 Imperial in Bestine the othe day.

i have roughly 50, i will hire a smug to come slice them for me..if anyone is interested

i get about 100 of those a night, i just delete..not wroth the 45 creds from junk dealer

what not? the containers or the cdef pistols? Like the first person said, sometimes you get lucky and get some good stuff in them.

I guess I'm unlucky. I only find worthless stuff like CDEF weapons, clothes, and +double bladed lightsaber speed tapes.

This is the first I've heard about it, but now that it's known that the chance is there, the price for containers will skyrocket.
Ya know, because no one (except us) can figure out that if people stop charging so much for the loot tools we need, slicing prices will go down.
I'm still amazed that people used to rant and rave that I was ripping people off for charging 10k, yet now they pay 100k or more and don't even blink.

Hi all, Novice Smuggler/Bounty Hunter here. Been playin almost 3 months (son got me into it) and any pointers would be helpful. Other then the simple crafting tool kit or is it called repair? Anyways, what are the main items that I would need? Where would be places to look? My CL is 32 at present.
Also workin on Master Pilot, already have my Y-8 deed and YT-1300 deed and waitin to use em.
Thanks and YES, smuggling with out space is stupid!
