Hello all,

Is there any good news for us in the future? I had read this board hundred of times, and it's seem like we are just talking to ourselves and no feed back from the dev. I am an armosmith and smuggler, and I really am enjoying both; However, smuggler been hanging on a loose thread for me. I don't mind being nerf so much that only 10% of our profession is working somewhat properly, but now, w/ the merchant nerf, 4 of my bulk orders customers had lay me off, there goes my monkey slice Should I keep on wishing on a star that one day the Dev-il will answer to our prayer and give us some goody?

By the way, it would be really suck if I have to buy JTL in order to smuggle anything.

So far as good news there isn't anything big in the works that I'm aware of for smugglers specifically.

Yet this is what's happening right now.

Very soon I and the majority of correspondents will be traveling to Austin to get some face to face time with the developers. There we will be addressing the combat revamp particularly, but also given a chance to bring up 5 issues (Not of revamp quality, IE Spice overhaul/Smuggler Missions) that we could likely get addressed hopefully a good deal of time before our revamp itself.

I will be trying to get in touch with GreenMarine while there, though he has informed me that he doesn't know if he will be attending the Summit due to other pressing engagements.

We will be getting some XP types able to be converted into the new FS skill trees with Publish 10. Pistol XP/Spice XP/Slicing XP are all used and allow us to cover every aspect of the FS tree if we so desire. Not too shabby, though the ratios are much too severe for my liking.

There was a change on TC that is not allowing us to auto-pull slicing components while slicing, but TH said that was just temporary and would be resolved. So we hopefully won't see that happen on Live servers

Aside from those things, there isn't anything really to be shared. Rumors of new pistols on TC lead players to think one or two might be for smugglers. I however have no knowledge of this, so I guess we will all find out together

So hopefully that's intimidating enough.

....rofl

I can outstare my cat.. but then I've had him for 10 years or so. He no doubt has the memories of play fighting and dangling off of my arm with his teeth well and truely sunk in.

I think the real trauma happened when we were both young and foolish and I carried him downstairs in a plastic carrier bag.. god I was an evil little brat. Up until recently he'd run at the sound of those carrier bags rustling (then again he's also terrified of the vacuum cleaner, and that's nothing to do with me, I promise you ). It's actually, despite it being tragic, mildly ammusing, because he's one of the biggest cats I've ever seen.

I think it'd be far better if you took the cat along and sat with it on your knee, stroking it menacingly as you speak to the Devs. If that doesn't work, just throw the feline at them. Nothing like a furrball of claws and teeth attached to your face to make you see reason.

Cats can be pretty rough to stare down..

I had a cat once, looking into his eyes was like looking into the eyes of satan himself.. or at least a high ranking underling..

Braver man than I you are....
