For the past few days I have been grinding up unamred 4 outside of theed, and i finally got it, but now I have to get up pisotls and All ive gotten up is pistols 2, I am pretty poor and dont have any armor excpet for bone(took up Artisan on the side) and need a way to grind up to Novice Smuggler.

Where should i train and With what equipment? Right Now I have 18k but coulkd sell some resources for more money.

Well... If youve got any type of uber combat skills I would get a buff and then go to dant. and hunt Mokks, Jantas, or Dantari. I was getting 3k in pistol xp. Then again I just read your post. I would take some low level Huurton missions.... use your unarmed abilities on the hurrtons and then use your pistol on the lair. when I did that, most lairs gave me about 3k in pistol xp... Hope that helps....

Either get into squill groups on Tatooine, or get buffs and hunt gurrcats/dire cats on corellia. Once you save up some money, start getting some 70% Ubese armor, then you should be able to handle Dantooine with buffs.

I killed lots of banthas for my grind up the pistol line. Slow, easy to kill, worth decent XP at lowbie levels. I never farted around with buffs/armor/etc. I figured if I could kill stuff that was worth little XP, inlarge quantities, and quickly, then I'd be making more XP per hour with almost no downtime than if I hunted tougher, higher-xp yielding criters. Of course, I also had novice pistoleer first I think, and this was also back in the day before they made bleeds decrease your XP (which I'm pretty sure it does now).

I would just pop Sap Shot, Sap Blast, and then use Covering Fire when stuff charged at me. Spam Chest Shot. Once you start up the Dirty Fighting tree, everything gets so much easier (Low Blow and Last Ditch Attack own).

Once you finally get Pistols 4 though, DEFINITELY pick up some decent kinetic ubese and head to the Dantooine Mining Outpost. Pay for a full set of HAM buffs, and then go run regular Quenker misisons (approx. 5100 credits). Target the LAIR, run straight up to it, and then just SPAM Hold Out Shot (Point Blank Area 1) until everything's dead. Group with a pet or droid and leave it in the Outpost too for an XP bonus. I get at least 3k per quenker with anywhere from 6-9 creaturs (depending on if or how many "babies" spawn) and the lair itself is worth about 3k. I make about 100k - 150k pistol xp per hour this way (and at least 60k in credits too), depending on how far away the missions spawn.
