yeah....FAN's jeez I remember when the thing to do was use 3 or 4 of them, to increase your percentage to guess the right one!
They pretty much went the way of the dodo, as soon as MS started making crates of them to sell.
Those were the days....

Allright, Flow Alalyzers are something that aids in slicing. They were designed to get a smuggler from Novice to slicing 4 (and thus got the clamp schematic). They give you a 75% chance to cut the correct wire. Generally the only people who have used these are the old smugglers on any given server.

They really just need to give mole clamps a cert. I remember the feeling of triumph when I finally trained slicing 4 and make my first clamp. Now, it's just so unrewarding

That's a hope for the revamp, I guess. I remember a kind Smuggler giving me 5 clamps to make Slicing 1, so I'd feel a little pain for the new Smugglers the day they do that. Then again, the other 15 successful container openings I did were clamp-less and didn't take too long (gave away free Shadowpaw to anyone letting me try, that was before the days of locked containers selling for 10k each).
