I was actually the person that asked about this.

They said they would be making an announcement soon. I don't remember if this is 100% correct, but they might be having a hard time choosing what they'd like to offer for 2 years.

Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

I hope they decide too, if they are having this much trouble, i cant even imagine the trouble they'll have for 3 yr vet rewards!

- I support NO DECAY.It should be run like EQ . No 20k price cap on the bazar and everyone can craft. Its has worked for 7 years on everquest and there is no decay plenty of money and no crazy prices.

Decay is only good for crafteres and bad for everyone else. <>

ok here is my suggestion for 2yr vet rewards

make that be how you get to be a jedi !

no more grinding no more whatever the hell you have to do now... after two years you get a second character slot to play a jedi!

c'mon tell me thats not a great way to handle jedi!! it would sure have thinned out the number of powergamers eh... how many people would wait 2 years to play a cool character and then waste it by sittin in the cantina acting like a tool!

LOL, I thought that was what they were gonna do from the start to reward players for time playing the game... not grinding the game away.

Then Ithought maybe they would reward players who acted in a Jedi like manner... boy was I wrong.

Then I thought... maybe quests that mention the force....

Then came Holo's...

Then came the village...

Then came my overwhelming desire to pistol whip just about every jedi I cross paths with

You can be sure whatever it is, 75% or more of the player base will b!tch regardless. Could be a 1 year paid subscription and whiners everywhere would be going, 'Pffft, 1 year of playing a broken game for free? SOE sucks, I'm not gonna waste my precious time (will have to be the fall back to the $15/month comment) when I could be....doing...something...else...I don't know what but, what a ripoff! Yes yes capital ships, but W T F about 2yr vet rewards?? Devs said they where going to annouce it at fan fest, stop holding out *eyes veela* spill the beans!
