Thread: Last night I felt like a smuggler.

I was out on Dant at the abandonned rebel outpost there running missions for Mon Mothma. I had to go find a contact... and on my way got stopped by ST's, so... needless to say I killed them all.
Upon returning to the outpost, after successfully completing my mission, I notice a line in the spatial....
"Cere waves to speederbike."
That name... I remembered from months ago. A rival of mine from late last year. I stored my bike instantly, then I /target'ed Cere to notice his ham was a good 1.5k higher then mine and his mind was about twice as high. I had a TEF so, I started to take my armor off and ran outside.
Eyeshot, Eyeshot, Feign. I go down... He keeps nailing me with fire as I just sit there staring at the stars... I sent him a tell and we started chattin.
This guy was one of the first people to actively PVP on my server. He would always be very mature about losing or winning, and he was always a great guy to talk to. He knew me back when I lost EVERYTHING that I worked for in the game... and he actually sat n talked to me while I had a /cry macro looping /cry every 60 seconds in the rebel outpost on rori. Cere would PVP in ST armor before there was any armor readily available that was better.
But, while I was staring at the stars, I explained my situation to him, I was on one of the last missions on Dant and really didn't want to clone and have to find my way back to a doc and back to the oupost to only do one or two more missions. We agreed on a cease fire, and he went on about his business and I stood up and walked away.
To people out there with good hearts, and honest playing, I salute you.
