Is there a benefit to this?

I don't see a benefit to become Master Smuggler to slicing in the Master box (i.e. +bonus to slicing). Is there a hidden one or will Slicing 4 get you the same results as MS?

Like Rebel and stuff, totally!

Stay away from the Node's they are like a 50/50 chance of guessing the right wire to cut, clamps are 100% right all the time.

Master smuggler does give a pretty big boost in slicing, but you can still get some bad ones at master though. Sorry i don't have the hard numbers on what the differnce is on slicing 4 and master, but i am sure you can find it in one of the stickies up there.

Actually, nodes are 75% right.

Just guessing red or blue would be 50%.

But yeah, go with Clamps rather than Nodes when you can.

Nodes only come in handy when:

* You're not skilled enough to make Clamps and won't/can't buy them elsewhere.

* Getting a successful slice is not vital and you want to save a few resources.

But yeah, nodes become pretty useless once you can make clamps and you can get the resources to make a bunch of them.

Though nodes do look kinda cool as renamed items.
