I too understand your frustration but this isnt the way. All that will happen is they will shut down the server,as they did with intrepids merchant nerf sit in(someone correct me if im wrong)

We are few and far between on Chimaera. Lets not get ourselves a bad name on the server,after all it is the best server

This isnt the way to drum up support for our cause,all i see this doing is giving us a bad name,i personally dont want to see as many anti smuggler threads as we do jedi threads on our boards.

I know how you feel i have been a smuggler since day one,its the one profession i went after when the game was released in europe and ive been a smuggler ever since,and i admit i have no faith in the devs in getting it right for us. I do have faith in this community though to make its voice heard. I have several professions spread over several characters,the only prof board i activley post on is this one. The Smuggler community is the best community in this game and we have a damn fine correspondant fighting our case

Good morning and thanks JacobKell for your mail that what i wanted to hear. Now I'm speaking from my on behalf. Not to save my ass or anything, just to point my own point of view.

I have heard A LOT good things about smuggler community, but I haven't seen it in game. I have played since january and always wanted to be smuggler. I had a month break from smugglers when i heard that our revamp isnt coming with pub10. I'm glad that i tried other profs and found out that this game has soooo much to offer, but still i wanted to be smuggler. So I got my master smuggler title back and decided that if SOE cant do **edit** to give us something, I'll try to create some content...I dont need or want the whole revamp at once. It would beA LOT more fun if we get something in little pieces. I dont need smuggler only gun or something, i want content. So, I created a chat channel with one other smuggler for master smugglers and startedcontacting smugglers with master smuggler title on. The channel is pretty good way contact other smugglers easily in game and to think about what we could do to make content. The channel is still pretty unknown and I havent been contacting other master smugglers for a while. IRL things. Anyway, once in a while a new smuggler pops in and tell this is a good idea to have this channel. It's always nice to get feedback, good or bad.

Okay, what about the protest. I definately dont want to ruin other players gaming experience by causing the server shutdown. And I do appreciate what our correspondent is doing. /cheer for Caylin. I havent received any negative feedback about the protestin game so far, only positive. Anyhow, I'm happy to call off the protest if it harms Caylin's work and gives us bad reputation. But I will send later this week a mail about the prostest in game and post it here, too. But this thread is still a protest. One among the others... How many more protests will come is yet to seen, but soon SOE really have to start giving us something because this cant go on forever... SOE,u can still add something to underworld-tree and master box or anywhere that doesnt affect combat balance or economy (at least now much economy). Experimenting spices and slicing tools for example. Cant be too big project? These forums are FULL of EXCELLENT ideas... U dont have to add all at once! If u do add all at once and then start nerfing all the things that made us too great or something, its bad. But who am I to give software developing tips... only a tiny mon cal wannabe smuggler in the huge galaxy...

JacobKell, I dont think over 40 master smugglers are few if we sit on the same table and start telling ideas of making content in game... and this "table" could be a chat channel...

I am not a Chimaera resident and there cant be too huge a difference between smugglers on any server. Just due to the fact that its a tough prof to stick with. I am on Gorath and you can count the smugglers on this server with your hands and maybe one toe. But the point is that why go somewhere and protest to people in Theed who could care less about your cause. And there will not be enough people to make a difference in the gameplay. But to help you out i will open some doors for you. I have 2 Doors of which to choose from

1 Say goodbye to SWG

2 Or you could pick another prof (Surprise LOL) and when they do make adjustments to smuggler....Guess What. Come back
