Fixed. Because let's face it, like it or not, the vast majority of people who say they will file a complaint never do. Not saying a lot of people weren't unhappy and didn't say they would, just saying that a majority didn't follow through. There would be a TON more negative reviews on consumer websites than there already are. If everyone who claimed they would lodge a complaint actually did, all the gaming magazines would be writing flashy "Page 1" expose-type articles about the enormous backlash against SOE/ or LA. I even saw a lot of people claiming that they either had or were going to file a complaint with the BBB...search the BBB database and see how many complaints were filed against either company (LA or SOE). If you know anything about the BBB, you know that they have to list EVERY complaint received by them, regardless of how it was resolved or settled. Heck, look at how many people saygoodbye and threaten to quitevery week since Pub 19 but are still here either playing or writing on the forums?!!?

Again, I'm not suggesting that SOME people didn'tlodge their opinions through letters, emails, or phonecalls. Just think of how many times in your own life you have felt shorted and someone told you that "You should write a letter." Compare that with the number of times you actually sent one off. For some of you reading this, that will be50/50 or better, to which I saw "well done." But the reality is that when it comes to actually writing a letter or making the call nowadays, most people (regardless of how upsetor frustrated) never follow through. Sadly, I have to be honest andadmit I am just as guilty of this

The last time i wrote a letter, was 12 month ago when i quite my job and interogated a pay off for leaving.

But i got your point. Even if only 1% actualy did write a letter.. thats still a nice number. And even small numbers tend sometimes to gather a huge interest (jedi anyone? *grin*). Didi anyone hear anything from LA? You might want ask Veela bout her opinions regarding LA.. from what i heard she knows or knew some peoples there.

I wrote in an earlier post awhile back (that was ultimately deleted now that I think about it) that suggested that if your only form of complaint was in a company run forum - then don't expect to much. Does LucasArts care? Who knows, but I do know that if they start getting big mounds of paper that they'll eventually get tired of it and look to fix the problem - not because they love us but because they're tired of the hassle. That's the point I was/have been trying to get across.

In keeping with the positive spirit I'd like to offer a couple of suggestions for players to express their love for the game.

1)Are you a customer of any online vendor such as Amazon, Future Shop, Best Buy, etc? Do those websites allow you to write reviews and rate the products? Well, by all means - go right ahead and write as many reviews as you feel you must expressing your love for this game. Just ignore reviews that start "If you are buying this game for someone - why? Do you hate them?" because those are just negative nellies who just don't "Get" the SOE philiosophy.

2) Are any online magazines such as Wired running their annual Vaporware Awards yet? Well, if there are - DON'T go near those, because there's no vaporware in this game at all.

3) Feel free to mail in things like the History of Smugglers to:

LucasArts
Attention: Product Support
P.O. Box 29908
San Francisco, CA 94129

Because we want LA to know how much people love the product that they licensed out.

Let the love flow people.

And I also realize how many heavy thuds of envelopes the History would make hitting the desk constantly at that office.
