Thread: I am so happy...
God Bless the Devs for looking out for such important and canonical professions such as entertainer. I'd hate to see a game where entertainers couldn't entertain.
Once again the Devs solve an important problem before it was too late.

The entertainers did and still do need content just like we need it. What do you guys think is the reason there aren't that many non-afk entertainers, because it's so great to get harassed most of the time, because it's fun getting told that your profession is useless and because it makes your day when people demand buffs instead of asking nice for them and expect you to travel through half the galaxy to buff them so they don't loose time for hunting? Most of those afk buff bots are people who don't want to be limited in their hunting and don't want to have to ask people for something. Finding an atk Entertainer would mean you have to talk to someone, ask someone for help or even taking the time to find someone! Most people see Entertainers as buff machines, not players.
Seriously people, we desperately need content, that's for sure, but we are not the only ones here and nagging at other professions with the same problems will get us nowhere!

I agree. Why should we get a revamp? We are in no need of content. With the Imperial crackdown, we smugglers can help other players within a 32m radius avoid scan if we are grouped with them. What better thing to smuggle than your best friend?
Feign Death is our RPing aspect. If we are shot at, we fall down and annoy our enemies. Last Ditch is a great gamble move, just walk around overt and unbuffed, then last ditch the first attackble member of the opposite faction. The gamble is to see how long you last... one shot... 2, maybe 3. Great fun.
You can master the ways of the underworld by shooting pickets. Wonderful idea, I am sure they have some very useful information to provideabout the workings of the Hutt crime oragnizations spanning the galaxy.
Spices, yet another wonderful aspect. 8 minutes of fun before you get the downer and get killed by a chubba. Best 8 minutes in recent memory.
Slicing. Completely random. 5-35% on most items, some getting up to 45% of a particular statistic modified. Listening to n00bs complain about slices is a great test of one's paitients. Slicing is like a pack of Meatlump loots, you never know what your going to get.
Do smugglers need content?
Heck no, we've got plenty.
Edit: Typo corrections
