Smugglers have +100 to spice experimentation, yet no one can experiment. Chefs can experiment, why not us? I say either give it to us or take the +100 away if devs are never going to make the spices available for experimenting. Either way it goes, DO SOMETHING!!!
Yes this topic has been driven in the ground, I wanted to post so deal with it

I agree, get the smuggling system out of the way first. However, to stick with the OP.
Yes, skills that are granted yet have no use need attention. In the spirit of SOE. It should be fixed to give us something to do until 2 years from now we can still ask "When are we gonna smuggle"?

You do know that the Devs will almost certainly choose the 2nd option (removal of spice experimentation) if given the chance? That's their current philosophy: if it would make the game more complex and enjoyable if working correctly, and yet would take effort to fix but on the other hand can be removed easily and without breaking too much, out of the window it goes.
Musicians used to have instrument experimentation modifiers (also +100 at Master) that also didn't do anything, just like spice experimentation. A few patches ago this was just removed without explanation.

True about the smuggling it part, but wouldn't this make spice easier to push if we could enhance their effects. Then this would also set up a sort of pyrimad of smugglers. For example, my spice could come out better than anothers and in return more people would come to me. It works for other professions like Chefs and BE and Armorsmiths and Weaponsmiths and etc. As it stands, no one smuggler can make better spice than another. I just think it will add a new element to the profession.

I had to deal with 4 years of Foreign Language in highschool! Do you think I want to pay for a game and do it all again virtualy?
