I bet you ahd a speed-pup on it, back then you could slice with a pup on.

It was/is an exploit though.

As far as I can tell the stats on Proton Carbines do not vary, and while I have not calculated it out, it looks like the 4% speed slice on the original carbine might actually be more like a 15-20% speed slice.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I always wondered why the damn thing fired as fast as my scatter pistols did, but I never bothered to check until now.

The DPS doesn't really matter, but my Modified DPS as a MBH with no Carbine Skill trees is 587.51 The Base is 412.49.

Rule of thumb, If it doesnt look like a flash light, and extend long enough for the devs to suck...it will get nerfed...oh yeah its gotta glow as well...the devs are attracted to pretty glowing lights...

back when do you mean they could slice with a pup? I know you can now but prior to the cu it was an exploit and fixed with the removal of pup msg prior to the slice.
