Thread: Question about the Forum moderator

I know I must sound paranoid, but I've noticed in the last month or so a lot of the posts I make here get deleted...not the whole thread, but just my posts. They range from minorly sarcastic to the completely benign...I had two posts where I simply said I love you not sarcastically, but in good natured humor to someone. Today I know I made a response to the thread about Tigs mentioning the smuggler revamp, but it's not there anymore. I think it was that one...it was in response to another post someone made about the revamp coming in two thousand and never, which I thought was in that thread, but I might be wrong, but I do know of other posts that I can't imagine violated the rules. Does the moderator have a list of people they automatically delete?
And if I violated rules, would the moderator please let me know what rules I broke?

(hoping I don't get banned, but then again I know I'd be in good company if I do...)

Mods are called to forums via the "report abuse to a mod" clicky on posts.

Theres a mole in the midst...

Just because someone alerts a post by no means always results in its removal.I honestly cannot find any posts made by you recently that were removed unless they were part of a really bad thread. Sometimes more innocent posts are deleted because they are in reply to a post that violates the community guidelines, especially if said post is quoted.

Posts in the profession forums may also beremoved if they are off-topic for the forum. The galaxy forums do have more lax rules when it comes to what types of discussions are allowed, but the profession forums should remain on-topic for the most part.

We have no list of names. There is no conspiracy.

Off topic? This seems to be an odd rule for this place....especially since our profession is so broken and neglected there is litte to talk about other than pie and beer, but I digress. Thanks for your response, can't say it clears it up, but at least you tried for which I thank you.

I would also add that our profession has such little content that is is difficult for this profession to even be ACTIVE unless we talk about off subject stuff.

Our pre-reqs for example, any questions can be answered in those professions. Any questions about any given weapon belongs in the weapons profession, most weapons FOR smugglers are crap, so we never discuss those stats. Faction can be answered in the GCW forum, so that leaves us with a hand full of specials to talk about, a line of spices which needs no discussion beyond reading the FAQ and slicing. Soo... stop deleting off subject posts

Not to mention that we are just alittle bit frustrated about our more on topic discussions being ignored by those who should listen. And by "listen" I do not mean "we have read them but do not like them because it would cost us money to hire someone to implement them".

With all of their rules, practically everything is in violation of something. Even some of the Reg Sigs violate rules...
