sux you think they could have given us the things they were planing on for patch 9 anyway. My fear.....we will get the same crap (just 3 months later)in 11 and not a true re-vamp.

My buddy asked me what was up with that the other day.
I told him it's because most of the Smugglers are relaxed, intelligent, mature individuals who stay cool, where as the Jedi are a bunch of immature holo-grinding power gamers who can whine more than a Gundark with it's ears pulled off.
It's unfair and unjust, but when it comes down to it I don't want to stoop to the level of whining that a power gamer does, just to get my way.

Think about it this way... the hologrind RUINED the economy and sent a HUGE red flag to the dev's that they must do something immediately.
A good 3/4 of the population of the game wants to be jedi, or they wouldn't mind being a jedi.
I believe the actual fact was 1/10 were hologrinders but alot more then that wouldnt mind being a jedi but refuse to grind.
If they leave jedi screwed up, then why would the 3/4 of the population want to play an uber messed up profession?
They fix Jedi, they please the MASSES, then they work on the smaller stuff that the smaller masses want fixed.

Well I worked on my Smuggler since day one of the game, took me 8 freaking months because I was UBER lazy and HATE grinding lol. I got him and Love him, I get slices in the 30 to 45% range on most everything, Got a 43% encumberance slice on some armor the other night. Don't really care much for the spices, and since the high level foods spice isn't really worth messing with. I would love that the Devs would get the re-vamp going because the whole worth of my guy is he's a good slicer and can get out of the imp crackdown pretty easily.

I see your character Dak is on my server and in the same PA that I'm in.
Send me an in-game tell sometime if you need another Smuggling contact. I'd like to create more of a player based "Smuggler's Network" that included people of all factions.
