Hi, I was in a cave last night and went to slice several of the mag seal containers there for the first time. I kept getting messages that the lock was broken and the container couldn't be sliced. So here are my questions if you'd like to help a novice:

1) Is it possible even to open the locked mag seal containers in caves and such?

2) I know if a normal container is jammed then someone has tried and failed to open it. What does it mean if a mag seal container says the lock is broken and won't let you slice it?

That situation with magseal containers has been going on as long as I can remember. Not sure if it's a bug or if they were never meant to be sliced but I assume if they wern't meant to be sliced, there wouldn't be a radial menu item *Slice*.

It is pretty frustrating not to be able to open these things.

You're kidding !! You mean no one can open those mag seal containers in caves unless they are already open?

Are they really pretty much decorations then unless they are already open?

They are on a timer and no one can open them until they are active. Then, anyone can open them.
