Does the quality of the AUK and WUK affect the slice at all? In other words, will using a 98% AUK or WUK really matter? Or is it just a waste of money?

General consensus is no. But I usually ask our guild WS & AS to experiment them out anyway. My reasoning is this... experimentation has no effect on SMUGGLER tools (knives, fans, clamps) but it DOES effect the crafter professions. Again this is just my own theory & opinion. If you ask any number of the folks here, you will get the same number of answers.

I don't think the effectiveness rating on WUKs/AUKs matters. In fact, when I am getting a WUK/AUK schematic made, I usually ask the smith NOT to experiment on it, because when it's experimented it takes 120 seconds to process in the factory, but unexperimented it only takes 52 seconds. It doesn't matter what the final result is, just the fact that it is experimented will cause it to require 120 seconds to manufacture.
My reasoning is that I only have one equipment factory, so if someone buys me out of all my WUKs it's nice to be able to make them as fast as possible. ![]()
