2 days ago Lok was the sight of an important victory for the Empire. The Rebellion lead byAdmiral Ackbar (played by your Dev of choice) planed to establish a primary base in sector 4, a barren and desolate flatland far from any civilized cities or town. This base was to be a staging point for operations that could effectively turn the tide of war in the Rebellions favor. Lord Vader (played by your Dev of choice) received word of this plan weeks ago from a spy net operative; his thoughts were the Empire could, with an effective surprise attack cripple or even destroy the Rebellion once and for all……

Teams of Rebels (you guys) arrived from all corners of the galaxy most in the traditional armor of the Rebel Alliance, with Ackbar in command and more rebels still in space, waiting for landing clearance. To everyone’s shock and surprise they were met not by wild animals or asteroids, but by one of the largest Imperil strike forces most of them had ever seem. Scores of Storm Troopers, (you guys) the feared army of the Empire, Imperial Tie fighters and Lord Vader himself! The Rebellion was surrounded. A battle of epic proportion raged in both space and planet side and while the Rebellion fought bravely they were unable to establish any foothold on Lok. They did however mange to escape with not only the Alliance still intact but heavy loses suffered by the Empire. Despite the victory Lord Vader was most displeased.

Jedi while still in hiding have grown in numbers but pay little attention to the galactic civil war. They have there own problems, Bounty Hunters and even worse Dark Jedi. If the Bounty Hunters sent by both the Empire and citizens of the old republic (who still blamed the Jedi order for it’s fall) do not kill them the Dark Jedi will. Dark Jedi, live to kill and hunt Jedi, as it is the first step in laying clam to and dominating the entire galaxy. It was a dark and difficult time for not only the Rebellion but the struggling Jedi as well. Last week alone the Dark Jedi launched a vicious attack on the Jedi sanctuary but were pushed back by the new Jedi counsel and loyal Jedi troops. Sadly both Dark and Light Jedi counsel leaders were killed by on looking Bounty Hunters attacking both light and dark with easy from positions just out side the battle.

Interestingly enough smugglers, usually the underbelly of the galaxy are in high demand on all sides of every conflict. If they are not smuggling “goods” for the Rebellion or slicing names off the Jedi Bounty boards (both Dark and Light), they are supplying the Empire with weapon and armor slices. Storm Troops armor was stronger then most Composite based Armor but sliced it is damn near invincible. Only a Rebel made weapon can do any significant damage. But really any of these jobs could be done for any side if the price was right and having a smuggler watch you back never hurt. Still, Smugglers have to deal with Bounty Hunters almost as much as the Jedi’s do and this makes the risk on activities they engaged in even more difficult, but also more rewarding.

Bounty Hunters are quickly become as rich as doctors, with Hunting Jedi, Smugglers and well anyone who has a price on his/her head. With this newfound wealth, some unusually extreme body enhancements, used for advantage over a mark have made there way into the Bounty Hunter community. Cybernetic limbs, more accurate and faster then a living arm or hand are all the rage and while not the prettiest of appendages make an “enhanced” Bounty Hunter one of the most feared combatants in the galaxy. It matters not, who you are, you never want to be on the receiving and of a Bounty Hunters mark.

All this chaos does however make for good business, from your local weapons smith to an entertainer on Lok, everyone is thriving, after all war and drama are always prosperous.
